Our tubes are deployed in the cores of nuclear reactors, where they must endure in an extremely demanding environment for the entire life cycle of each reactor. Control rod and cladding tubing are critical safety components, as they are responsible for controlling the nuclear reaction and energy output within the core. Superior currently produces control rod tubing from 1.0” in outside diameter down to around .250” OD.
