Health & Safety

Health and safety issues are taken extremely seriously at Superior Tube, by both management and employees. Throughout our organization, we do everything we can to prevent personal injuries and ill health. We aim to protect our staff, customers and the public from the hazards that our work involves, and this reaches beyond the gates of our tube mill. We are concerned with the health and safety of people wherever they come into contact with us and our products.

Our Health and Safety Policy

Superior Tube is committed to providing and maintaining a safe and healthy working environment for all our employees, visitors and anyone else who may be affected by our activities.

Our Health and Safety Policy complies with all statutory requirements and codes of practice, and we take all reasonable precautions to ensure a safe and healthy workplace. Superior Tube staff are given all the training and resources they need to achieve this.

In Health and Safety, we set our priorities and objectives based on risk assessments, which identify any significant hazards. We then work out how to control the risks, implement whatever measures are necessary, and identify the areas where our staff may need further training.

We continually review our Health and Safety Policy to be certain that it is performing robustly. Additional audits are carried out to ensure that whenever we take measures to control risks, they have the desired effect.

In the same way that we work to develop new technologies and working methods in the manufacture of precision tubing, throughout our health and safety activities Superior Tube maintains a culture of continuous improvement.
