Bellows and Convoluted Tubing Applications
Our precision convoluted tubes are hydro or mechanically formed into flexible hoses, which are often used to transport fluids and gases in various industries. The convolutions increase flexibility and allow the tubing to bend in multiple directions.
Applications include automotive, aerospace, industrial, and medical, specifically for wire harnesses, cable protection, fluid or gas transfer, and as a protective covering for sensitive components.
Alloys
We work with customers to engineer corrugated bellows tubing that deliver excellent resistance to heat, pressure, and corrosion. Our convoluting grade tubes are made from several high-performance alloys such as Inconel 625 and stainless steel 321.
Sizes
Superior Tube produces bellows and convoluting grade tubing from 1.0” (25.4mm) outside diameter down to under 0.250” (6.35mm) outside diameter with wall thickness as light as 0.003” (0.0762mm).
